BaseBox 72 and BaseBox 152 use a 30-amp exterior power inlet.The optional Solar + Battery Generator System includes up to 1,200 watts of solar panels and a 3,072Wh LiFePO4 battery system with 3,600 watts of rated output. The complete system is installed as part of the selected BaseBox configuration and supplies power through the same 30-amp inlet used for shore power.An optional battery expansion doubles the available battery storage.Actual solar production and battery runtime depend on weather, season, sunlight, HVAC demand, appliance use, and operating hours. Shore power or a compatible generator can supplement the system when needed.Electrical permitting, connection, and inspection requirements vary by jurisdiction.

Yes. Not automatically. BaseBox can be configured for different uses. Its legal classification depends on the particular configuration, intended use, installation, site, utilities, occupancy, and applicable state and local requirements.A BaseBox used as an accessory storage structure may be treated differently from the same type of structure proposed as an office, studio, commercial space, shelter, or dwelling.Similarly, a structure proposed for residential sleeping or dwelling occupancy may trigger requirements that do not apply to storage or other accessory uses.Customers should describe their actual intended use to the applicable planning or building authority and confirm the requirements before installation or occupancy.

Yes. BaseBox is designed with relocation in mind. Site access, anchoring or foundation conditions, utility connections, lifting requirements, and local regulations affect how a particular unit can be moved. If future relocation is important, tell us when planning the original installation so the site and connection strategy can account for it.

BaseBox uses a steel structural frame and steel surfaces together with non-combustible mineral-wool insulation. We intentionally selected these materials to reduce reliance on combustible framing and to improve durability and safety. Depending on configuration, BaseBox may also include smoke detection, fire extinguishers, tempered glazing, and other safety-related features.Specific fire-resistance ratings or code classifications depend on the tested assembly and applicable project requirements.
